At Chattanooga Mobility & Lifts, we know that your house is your home; it’s somewhere you would like to stay for years to come. If your stairs are becoming an obstacle to enjoying your beloved home, there is a solution: a stairlift. 7 Good Reasons You May Need A Stairlift 1. A stairlift relieves the concern about the safety and comfort of your loved ones when you can’t always be by their side. 2. It provides peace of mind that you or a loved one you are caring for will not fall down the stairs. You can enjoy all the comforts and amenities of the home you have grown to love over the years. 3. A stairlift will make your life, or the life of the person you are caring for, easier and safer for years to come. 4. It is a low-cost alternative when stairs become an obstacle. When you compare the cost of adding a room to the first floor, moving to an assisted living center or purchasing a one-story home, a stairlift is by far the most economical choice. 5. Stairlifts can be used for carrying things up and down a staircase such as groceries, laundry or luggage. 6. Walking up and down the stairs is one of the leading causes of falls in the home of people of any age. 7. A stairlift dramatically reduces the wear and tear on ankles, knees and hip joints. You will be able to save your joints for the activities you love to do!   Why should you consider a stairlift? Because they are... Dependable. Safe. Each stairlift is designed to provide our customer with confidence and assurance. Comfortable. Quiet. Superior craftsmanship and quality design ensure peace of mind each and every time you use a stairway lift from Chattanooga Mobility & Lifts Convenient. Efficient. Our stairlifts are designed for ease of installation onto the stairs, not the wall. This is the measurement along the nosing from the upper to the lower landing. • Width of staircase-Must be at least 28” wide. • Rise and tread-Number of risers and the height of each measured from tread nose down to the next tread. Depth of tread measured horizontally from step nose to step nose. • Stairlift position-Right or left side of the stair case. • Outlet requirements-A standard electrical outlet should be easily accessible to operate the stairlift.
